Rathmines Catalina Festival (10am-4pm) is on every year in November, featuring Tiger Moths, Sea Planes, flyovers, Vintage & Classic Cars & Bikes, food stalls, dancing, activities, and lots more - a fun day for the whole family!  Click on Events Page for more information. We are attempting to raise enough money to build a secure hanger in Rathmines Park where the Catalina that has been purchased from Portugal and is now residing at Bankstown Airport, can be relocated here as a living, active, flying Memorial.

Rathmines Memorial Bowling Club is ideally situated on the shores of Catalina Bay on Lake Macquarie, NSW and is a short 90 minute drive north of Sydney.

The club is situated on the site of the historic flying Catalina Squadron Base. We offer a variety of bowls including singles and teams events.

We have conducted Group Tours of the Flying Boat Base by arrangement.

The Club's Catalina Bistro offers a wide range of delicious lunches and dinners.

We are proceeding with Extensions to make your visit to our club all the more memorable. A new sealed carpark, new entry and a new lounge for your convenience. Please be patient with us as our building work proceeds.
